  • Who will clean my home?

    Your home will be cleaned by a regularly assigned team of fully trained Teays Maids professionals. For security and your peace of mind, all employees at our house cleaning company are insured and bonded.

  • How will our relationship work?

    Since we know that we must earn your continued patronage on each visit, we don't require contracts. We depend on open communication and your candid evaluation of our service. If you are happy with our house cleaning company, tell a friend. If you are unhappy, tell us immediately and we'll make it up to you.

  • What will Teays Maids do in my home?

    Our service includes the dusting of baseboards, pictures, lamp shades, knickknacks, windows sills, furniture, and light fixtures as well as thorough vacuuming. Our Teays Maids team will make sure the floors are washed and the kitchen and bathrooms are sanitized. Our house cleaning company will try our best to accommodate all your cleaning needs.

  • What if something is damaged when my home is cleaned?

    We treat your home with the greatest care; however, should damage or breakage occur while we are cleaning your home, we will make every effort to have the item repaired or replaced. Insurance claims will be filed when possible. The homeowner is responsible for making Teays Maids aware of any items that are not secured properly on walls or that may be particularly fragile and require special attention. You can pass this information on to our house cleaning company at the time of the initial estimate or by calling our Teays Maids Office Manager.

  • What if my cleaning falls on a holiday?

    If your scheduled cleaning falls on the observance of a major holiday, our house cleaning company will contact you to reschedule.

  • Do I have to do anything before the team arrives?

    In order to give you the greatest value, we ask you to take a few minutes the night before to tidy up extraneous clothes, toys, and other household items. Call our house cleaning company if you have any questions prior to our visit.

  • What if I need to change the scheduled cleaning?

    Due to the advanced scheduling of our teams, we appreciate a 72-hour notice for changes. Unfortunately, we may find it necessary to charge a fee when short notice is given and we are unable to reassign the team. A $25 minimum service fee may be charged for any cancellation if you fail to give Teays Maids 48 hours' notice. Charge amounts are based on the price of the job and its location.   • Am I potentially liable for worker's compensation insurance or taxes?

    Most homeowners are not aware of their potentially enormous liability regarding the proper handling of taxes and worker's compensation insurance for home service workers. Don't worry, though. The house cleaning company at Teays Maids bears this entire responsibility for you.

  • How do I pay for the service?

    Payment is made on the day of each visit. Simply make your check payable to "Teays Maids" and leave it in a convenient place for our team to pick up when they arrive. Note that there will be a $20 fee for all returned checks and late fees of $10 per month may be applied to unpaid balances on accounts.
